"Preparing for the complete collapse of radio. Smart move".

Not to mention the complete collapse of the economy.

Not only is Radio SUCKING more than ever with ridiculous syndicated garbage, but Wallstreet droped even further today! Gotta love this hell-hole we are living in. Not to mention Obama's worthless stimulus package!

Hi. For the record, I did not quit. Was offered part time work for a severe cut in pay and no benefits. It was simply a cost cutting move by another company facing the realities of today's economy. It sucks, but it was "an offer I could refuse". 35 years and out. I am deeply saddened by the whole situation, and disappointed in the way it was handled. They really gave me no options. Twelve years and a lot of dedication got me two weeks pay and no goodbyes. I'm sure some of them will read this and get pissed off. I really am not airing dirt on anyone directly. Well....maybe one or two guys. They know who they are. All in all, my radio run was a ball. The best part, of course, was the incredibly talented people I have had the privilage of working with over the years. I'll shut up now. My best to all of you, and if you are ever in Albany, let me buy you a cup of the Busch Blend at Rhythm & Brews.

You will be surprised how little time it takes not to miss radio, Charlie. Eventually, you'll only remember the fun and the great people, not the circumstances of your exit or the plethora of buttholes you had to put up with.

Since I haven't cashed in my initial free coffee offer, does that mean I can now bring a friend and cash in two?

I've got some friends in a great oldies band if you want to give that a try. They do well outside of the city and played many years at the Country Inn in Tualitin until they dumped music this year.

See ya soon, bud.

Andy

Good luck, Charlie--you deserve it.

If you ever need a singing/dancer waiter, I'm available.

Hey Jeff, a singing/dancer waiter sounds good to me, but for the love of god, please make sure your clothes stay on this time!
Love always,
Buns of Steel

Evidently BOS....You have never experienced the spectacle that is, and always will be, Jeffrey "Mr. Entertainment" Clarke. The days of nakedness while performing ceased when we gave up our ways of perpetual shitfacedness. These days Jeffrey (and Clancy) can sing a Sinatra standard while serving a hot mocha piled high with whipped cream, and only occassionally stab you in the eye with a stir stick. We may be old and in the way now, but the need to perform still runs deep within our ever collapsing veins.
Talk to you soon JC. The cup o'joe is on me.

Congrats on turning the page with class, Mr. Busch. Though we really only worked together long distance for a short while, I've always thought you were a helluva guy with an amazing set of pipes!
