Here’s a real long shot…I’m hoping someone will remember. Back in the late ‘50’s or maybe the ‘60’s, a TV sci-fi program featured a radio talk show host who was terribly upset with the mentality of his callers and was extremely rude to them. I recollect that the character resembled Vincent Price…but I don’t think it was him.
Anyway, as the story progressed, the host’s reaction to the stupid callers became angrier and angrier, to the point it became absolute rage and frustration…and then the host went mad and completely broke down.
At that point, the Narrator informed us that the host is there for eternity…to relive the experience time and time again forever. Yeah…Radio Hell!
I was just a little kid back then, but being fascinated with radio, even at that age, I’ve never completely forgotten that program. I’ve checked the episode guides for Twilight Zone, One Step Beyond and The Outer Limits, but can’t find anything about that particular show.
Do you remember it? Are there any other TV series I’ve overlooked? Any help would be so appreciated!

If this is not it, then it's very close:

Here's another stumper (and I don't have the answer handy, some late 1960's cop drama):

Down-on-his luck disc jockey is hired by a tiny AM station, only to learn to his dismay that the station has no audience and the "advertisements" he reads on the air are coded instructions for a car-stealing ring.

@Jeffreykopp:

The call letters were KDF and it was a soul station. I want to say The Mod Squad but I'm not sure.

Edit: Now my brain is telling me it might have been The Rookies.

I remember the show. I think it was the Mod Squad. The D.J. was in AA. It blew him away that his friend was a crook, the owner of the station.

Craig, not the program I reffered to, but one I now recall having viewed back in '71. Interesting, because I didn't watch a lot of TV then...but I did see that one, and I think it creeped me out so much my brain deleted the memory! What a fantastic story-line! And Arte Johnson was...well..."Veddy eenteresding."

Anyone remember this episode of Streets of San Francisco?

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0711515/

I think this is the one where the radio host aims 2 microphones together and somehow gets feedback.
