    Talk about and interesting intersection.

    Dr. Jane McGonigal, who is featured in this article, has been to Portland on several occasions, and my gaming son and I really enjoyed her talks. She really helped me understand my son's online gaming world and she also spoke my son's gaming language in layman's terms for me.

    Just something a little different for the forum.

    That's a good talk Chris. Gaming really does separate many parents from their kids, though this is changing as most of us, who grew up with gaming are now becoming parents.

    One observation I've consistently noted is online gaming is a social affair. Gathering place. The game is the backdrop for a running conversation about lots of other things.
