You have to feel for the player who dropped the ball short of the goal line.

Yeah, one of the crazier plays you'll see in college football this year. Gotta feel for that receiver. I doubt he ever makes that mistake again.

Feel for him? Why? It's a simple process...Get across the goal line before you drop the ball. It's a bonehead play, and he deserves every ounce of shit he receives. The play totally turned the game around. He should be running stadium stairs for the rest of his life.

What a GLORIOUS college game day. Any word on Grasu or Pharoah Brown? Those would be catastrophic losses if they are for any length of time.

Watching the game, neither one looked good. Hopefully, some healing can happen over the bye week, but I'm not optimistic. It WAS a great Saturday of college football, and it's going to get even more intense over these next three weeks.

Southwest Airlines used to run a TV campaign a few years ago about, "Wanna get away." They should resurrect that campaign for this wide receiver.

    Insert Kaelin Clay's play:

    That was awesome!

I like how the rules allow for this kind of thing. Refs just don't make a call, eventually players pick up on it and go!

Good grief, that's painful for the player. He's there, blue skies, and just snatches defeat from the jaws of victory.

Would love to have been there for the post game review! Ouch!!

Kaelin Clay loves to talk trash and showboat. So I don't fell sorry for him.

But let this be a lesson for every football player out there. When you run into the end zone. Instead of dropping the ball. Hand the ball to ref.

Oregon probably would have won this game anyway without this play. But consider this...This would have put Utah up 14-0 early in the 2nd. If things had played out the way they did and this score counted, the score at the end of the 3rd would be tied at 27. a much different game. And Utah would have had the chance at the upset. Taking it a step further, if OR had won by just a touchdown or field goal, they might have fallen out of the top 4. As it stands, Oregon instead will likely move up to #3. And it may all come back to that bone-headed play. But hindsight is 20/20.

BTW, inside for Brian, I got your reference...perhaps your scathing beat down (on the spiffy thread) inspired those cats from the Palouse.
