    There is too much to list. I think that my favorite things on here are the little radio "time capsules" we see from time-to-time, whether they be old anecdotes, airchecks, or postings of old industry publications. My second favorite thing I learn on this site is what people are hearing on the radio now--mainly programming changes and DX opportunities.

    I originally was attracted to the site by the wonderful Craig_Adams history posts, but learn something from the site nearly everyday. Today, a little geography, as I learned of the Darien Gap. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dari%C3%A9n_Gap

    When I visited Panama a few years ago, I read that the Darien Gap could be considered one of the most dangerous land crossings in the world. The reason for this was that in addition to having to deal with malaria-carrying mosquitoes, one might also run across militiamen. The parts of Panama that I visited were free of both, fortunately.
