Wait a minute.... we were right in the midst of pulling the curtains back on the Rocket Radio Waldport deal and -poof!- it's gone. Never to late to restart, tho'....

Yesterday morning, from Hillsboro I could detect a faint signal with some music beating with KGNW (Seattle area) on 820, which I took to be the Waldport station. Today there is no beat, and KGNW is clear. Is KORC really off the air?

Mike, I think I can confirm my identity by mentioning an email that I sent in January about your Ampex 440. It was passed through our mutual friend Craig Adams, right Mister Kolb? :0)

The "KORC Dark" thread is still right here for anybody who wants to catch up:

The original KORC website has been back on-line since yesterday:

This situation at the coast is still developing, so I would rather not dump any additional historical information into the fray just yet.

Anybody talk with Larry at all? I wonder if we shouldn't call him and just say, "Hey, give us the scoop?"

    Larry? Don't you mean Woody?

I hope that Larry found out about "Our Boy in Georgia" or as we refer to him "OBIG". Be careful, he can be dangerous. Follow the reads on mibuzzboard, radio-info and just search. All you do read is true. The Rocket Radio Network is not associated with Woody Nelson or any of his holdings.

No I mean call Larry. He still is the owner according to the FCC.

    Thanks Dan!

The original threads about KORC are preserved for the future right here:

    KORC-AM Waldport ***For Sale***

    KORC-Waldport went dark last month

Does anyone have an update from the coast?
