Deane.... I think we are on the same page more than we aren't....

NoParty (aka Trixter, right?)... I don't think the neoCON pundits (Limbaugh, etc.) are for a national health plan or increasing taxes on anyone and especially not the wealthy... part of starving the beast....

"In a systematic campaign orchestrated by the American Legislative Exchange Council – and funded in part by David and Charles Koch, the billionaire brothers who bankrolled the Tea Party – 38 states introduced legislation this year designed to impede voters at every step of the electoral process."

What does funded "in-part" mean? Sounds pretty substantial to me.

I've found that the Koch Bros donated $608,850 from the years 1997 to 2009. The revenue generated by the ALEC averaged to be approximately $7,000,000 per year during those years for an approximate total of $91,000,000.

The Koch donations would therefore be approximately .6% of the total revenue. For the mathematically challenged, that's less than 1%, so I think it's a little deceptive to associate this organization with the Koch Bros, as if they were the driving force or were substantial contributors.

But more importantly, what is wrong with legislation that requires proper identification? That seems to be a good thing and would prevent voter fraud.

I can say it, but do you have a point you would like to make other if we can say the word?
