This woman's numbers keep going down and this won't help her one bit unless your base is Herb, Broadway and Skybill.

    Damn is she stupid!

    One of Palin's statements--
    >>the former Alaska governor proclaims the marshmallow and chocolate treat is "in honor of Michelle Obama, who said the other day we should not have dessert."...
now, who is saying bizzarre statements?

Over smores !! Oh come on now..

Yes, we all know that eating smores,, to many smores will make most people's waistlines increase, espeically the OLDER you are, the slower your metabolism. And yes children tend to pig out on sweets, yes yes yes..we know.

Now, Sarah Palin's homey statement making smores IN HER OWN HOUSE and taking a jibe at the first lady who she says " tells us we cant have desert " which is in itself probably untrue ,I am sure that Michelle Obama has a caveat on deserts...healthy deserts ...and Ill bet smores arent one of them...Palin ( whom I dont support for President ) was making this comment in her own home, albeit for her TLC show, about the smores and the First Lady...which IMO is not a good place to be shooting IN YOUR OWN HOME because you are TOO COMFORTABLE in surroundings and may make a mistake of sorts..

So, anyway, I dont think comments about desert in this context are particularly earth shattering or fodder for TMZ and the like ..sheesh !!

    Liberal Agenda,

How exactly are “us people” exhibiting hypocritical behavior for stating a belief that Sarah Palin is an idiot. To quote Inoyo Montoya, “I’m not sure that word means what you think it means”.

Speaking only for myself, I tend to point out the stupid wherever I find it. Your opinion, as badly stated as it is, would seem to indicate you feel such critiques are due only to her political affiliation and such critical analysis is not to be found on the other side of the aisle. One, you’re wrong. You can look up any number of threads and find evidence supporting my assertion. And two, this is not a about anyone else. It’s about my (and others) opinions about her.

Why do I find her a silly person unworthy of serious regard?

She exhibits a flawed understanding of virtually every topic she feels the need to chirp about. Not flawed in my opinion; she’s provably incorrect time and time again.
She distorts information. She misrepresents viewpoints. She’s derisive of higher education and professional expertise. She’s speaks in folksy homilies and vague generalities and often breaks down incredibly complex issues into absurdly simplistic memes.

I think she’s an idiot, a divisive figure, and an ignorant boob. Your apparent unswerving support for someone so provably dim and intellectually incurious says more about you than it does about “us people”.

And Broadway, to the topic at hand allow me to explain: The first lady of the United States is involved in many charitable projects, causes, and institutions. Such behavior is hardly unique to Michele Obama. There is a long tradition of first lady’s engaging in such projects from both sides of the aisle. And rarely if ever do such things come under political attack. Wouldn’t you say attacking such things is both foolish and mean? If not, please feel free to explain your reasoning.

What has the former half term Governor of Alaska’s moose antlers in a bunch is one of Michele Obama’s causes: battling childhood obesity. People lacking in empathy might find such a thing laughable, but childhood obesity is linked to a wide array of health afflictions and also causes higher costs of healthcare. Michele Obama has been engaged in furthering education on the subject, making it more difficult for schools to offer only fatty, high cholesterol foods without a healthier option, and the like. That’s it. So shocking, I know.

Sarah Palin, in furtherance of her dishonest “the government is taking over your life” scare tactics has been distorting and misrepresenting the first lady’s entirely benign efforts to battle child hood obesity into something nefarious. I.e. Michele Obama says you can’t have a cookie! Our government, whether operating under a Republican or Democratic administration, has engaged in health care awareness initiatives such as these for years. The current first lady’s projects are not unusual, revolutionary, nor particularly controversial by any measured standard.

None of what I’ve just outlined for you is incorrect. I would think you’d be hard pressed to find some redeeming quality in Palin’s actions in this matter. If you disagree, conservative folk please enlighten us.

So, LA, that’s why I think she’s a dishonest, ignorant, dip. I’d love to hear what evidence you’ve accrued that’s helped you arrive at a contrary conclusion. And I'm really looking forward to hearing from Broadway in this matter, too. Now that I've explained the context, how do you feel about the story and the actions of Ms. Palin? That is, if you're honest enough to accept the facts of the matter. I'm not holding my breath.

Liberal Agenda, don't expect the uber-partisan leftists around here to accept any critique' of their Obama worship.

Fact is, Ms. Palin walks the walk, and decided to care for her Down's Syndrome baby rather than kill the child, and the left can't handle it.

She's also correct about government approved Death Panels, since democrats believe the elderly have a 'duty to die:'

Oh, yes, Herb, I much prefer the "death panels" insurance companies have had for decades. Republicans love those, because they increase corporate profits. But it's fun to make up things about the health care bill, though, and pretend to oppose them, isn't it? As long as a private business wants to kill people, no problem, as long as I'm invested in it!

You belong in a mental hospital, Zealot-Herb.

Your response literally has nothing to do with anything we were discussing. I outlined why I feel she's a boob and it has nothing to do with her political affiliation much less her children. I don't dislike her because she's a Republican. I dislike her because I think she's a dishonest idiot. And I gave specific examples how I arrived at the conclusion; including outlining her petty and mean-spirited distortions regarding the first lady’s initiatives in raising awareness of and combating childhood obesity.

    Your response is nonsensical.
