    Read it and weep, Herb.

    Eisenhower (R) 484
    JFK (D) 214
    LBJ (D) 325
    Nixon (R) 346
    Ford (R) 169
    Carter (D) 320
    Ronnie (R) 381
    Bush 41 (R) 166
    B. Clinton (D) 364
    Dubya (R) 291
    Obama (D) 182

Highest average for a two termer since Truman was Nixon.

And both Ford and Bush 41 served 4 years or less.

Here is how that will work:

    1. A bogus characterization is made, often coupled with lies. It ends up on media, who validates it with "two sides", or "but the liberals", resulting in a "debate"

    2. The Stupid Party goes full bat shit about it (Tea Party for those following along at home)

    3. Out come the facts. Most media ignores those. The "debate" may continue, or a new one will be started, or they fixate on a shiny thing, like Twerking, Girls, God, Guns, Gays....

    4. A few media voices will report those facts, but the people who do this never, ever get on the Sunday shows, where they continue with "both sides" and "but the liberals" as if nothing happened. Guests, who have been wrong on everything for years anre seen on TV, rubbing shit in their hair, yest nobody notices....

    5. Most people, who are not stupid, see it all for what it is.

    6. The Stupid Party continues on as if nothing happened. No corrections, no apologies, and they will never, ever even be asked about their own wrong words, ever.

    7. Done!

Some time will pass. Then a new lie will appear, and the same people will do the same things, nobody asks them about their last lies, and the Stupid Party goes full bat shit each time.

We have been reading "King" here since the election, and we have read it from the same people, who watch the same shows, who never, ever actually see those people on those shows called out on the same lies for years.

    Wrong how many times?

This should be disturbing to all of you. It is simply amazing to see complete denial, despite a written record. We have debunked this shit over and over, yet it is as if it all somehow is a new discussion every single time.

Turn your TV off. You might just be amazed at how easily this is all seen when it is not a part of your day to day life.

No he won't, nor will the others who will absolutely use the word "King" here again the first time it gets triggered. Probably won't take a month.

And it won't mean shit then, just as it doesn't now, and didn't the last pile of times we've discussed this.

Is there any real wonder we've got people acting out hard? Using guns, killing themselves, expressing damn near everything in both absolute terms and in a war like fashion?

Swallow enough of that bull shit, go a few too many cycles, and when reality seeps in, things get too difficult to process. One is faced with either coming to the realization that they've bought into a serious load of BS, or pushing back and doing what it takes to just deny and make it all go away.

Herb, and company will select one of their favorites from the Dodge List, likely silence coupled with a sprinkling of distractions, like the bible says, or abortion, and then just wait it out. When the great wheel of bull shit stops on "king" again, they will start right back up as if nothing at all ever happened.

Hell, maybe to them it just didn't. With such a strong media reinforcement, they can suck down a few weeks of TV, and words here in this place were just garbage "those guys" said, and they know they are tuned in to the truth, etc...

And what makes it worse, or more insidious really, is that everybody here knows the intent is good, for the most part, and it's all "fun 'n games", which it is to a degree, and so it all can sort of slide into place, no worries, and around that wheel goes again, and again.

It all depends on what the Presidential Orders are about. Minor things, or major policy shifts that should be left to the Congress.

Some of you posters aren't deep enough to grasp the difference.

Can you show us the difference between Cleveland, Reagan, Bush41 and Obama's Excecutive orders? I mean your the one saying that it depends on the orders.

I have a feeling we'll be waiting a long time...........

Deane, that's a dodge, and it's on the list. Try again.

What? Things like upping the wage for Federal labor? Guess what? President gets to do that, and we all elected him and said it's OK for him to do that.

Now, had Congress actually got to work legislating, we would have a solution in place, which would render Presidential action moot, but they didn't do that, did they?

Of course they didn't! They were busy shutting government down because they didn't get their purity pony.

Presidents also get to use the bully pulpit. We put 'em there for that reason. Obama's action leads to increased awareness and credence toward the various regional and local efforts to improve policy, all of which are working as intended.

Really, the only ones pissed off are the Stupid Party, who just wants their way, lacking any real data to justify getting it, so they tantrum, commit crimes, obstruct, abuse, slander, and do every other thing they can, because getting their way is the priority, not actually governing in an effective way.

See the difference now? I know, it's subtle, but work with me here. Just a little.

Turn that TV off for a while too. It hurts your brain.
