Now, they say at least six dead, and two shooters on the run:

WASHINGTON (AP) — Authorities say they are looking for two additional suspects in the shooting rampage at the Washington Navy Yard.

District of Columbia Police Chief Cathy Lanier says witnesses reported seeing two additional gunmen, both dressed in military-style clothing.

Lanier says one police officer was wounded in an exchange of gunfire with a shooter. She says one shooter has been killed.

Two Navy officials say at least six people were killed in the rampage.

D.C. Mayor Vincent Gray said at a Monday news conference four people were wounded and taken to hospitals.

Privatizing baby, it's all the republican rage. Remember those 'military contractors' in iraq, paid and quartered better than our troops? Let's wait for some details to come out.

Mostly civilians work at the Navy Yard:

"This base [Navy Yard] in particular is largely civilian. It’s primarily an acquisition and logistics support base. All the interviews you’re seeing with people in the building, to date, they’ve all been civilians. So that’s the biggest thing here. The vision people have of a military base with uniformed military marching around, that’s not what the Navy Yard is."

Another example of what we will see more and more of as guns proliferate society.

How many abortions did the gunman have before shooting all these people?

They have a lot of security in this place..boo...cooo security. Badging/Pass credentials at 3 levels to get into the building and on the floor the dead guy shot up..at least the dead shooter had to do that extensive to gain access. Cameras everywhere. Some were shot or shot at outside , so multiple shooters ..cameras and eyewitnesses..they havent locked down DC , but close. Suspect two other guys dressed in Military garb.
