    And the winner is......Sarah Palin!

"From spreading lies about 'death panels' to cropping Obama's comments about 'American exceptionalism,' from her comfortable perch at Fox News to her self-promoting books and reality show, Palin has truly broken new ground in misinformation."

    DAMN!

I thought maybe it was Herb.

Thank God above that both are non-factors in real world.

So if I understand you correctly, you would consider Tavis Smiley THE misinformer of the whole year for making one unquantifiable assertion?

If Broadway were honest, he would admit that it wasn't him that picked it. It was done by the conservative Media Research Center.

Of course the op does not mention that the source of his story was the VERY unbiased Media Matters.

    Broadway is not honest, Pete.

And Media Matters is biased in as much as one can consider the factual rebuttal of conservaitve misinformation some kind of bias.

The story simply ranked the number of provably untrue statements she has made this year, Dodger. How, exactly, can you take issue with that? Information is true or it is not. And one can look such things up were they so inclined to do so. (Which you are clearly not.)

It's not about her political party. It's not about what she purports to believe. It's not about her family life. It's about the sheer number of provably untrue things she has uttered. Facts are non partisan. It's interesting your'e so alarmed by them.

Alarmed would not describe what I was thinking.
Media Matters hands out an award named after a guy that has torn George Soros a new hole, decides to give said award to the dope from Alaska with nice tata's? Non-story. Nothing to see here...move along.
