The HD signal from KGON HD1&2 appears missing from the airwaves earlier when I tried to listen. 94.7 too. Both sides were on the Brew at the time of House of Hair this morning.

"The HD signal from KGON HD1&2 appears missing from the airwaves"

An important piece of gear is apparently still out for repair:

"tragically lost his life to a BASE jumping accident July 17, 2014, in Silverton."

"A professional skydiver, an expert technical arbory climber and a world traveler, Zack lived a compassionate and brave life, filled with love. His friends and family are consoled knowing he died for his passion, however much too soon."

KGON and KYCH HD should be back on by tonight.

I believe KGON HD 1&2 were both on for a couple hours but both appear off again.

KGON & KYCH HD are off again until they fix the Stonehenge antenna.

It was struck by lightning, fixed and worked for about 36 hours starting last Friday, and apparently other parts were damaged and then failed last Sunday.

That's at least twice that the Stonehenge Tower has been struck by lightning, once just before they installed the KNRK antenna.

I'm sure you mean hit with resultant damage.

They probably take lighting strikes almost every time there is lighting anywhere nearby.

That lightning arrest unit up top does its job most of the time.

Yes, that's what I meant. I just didn't realize it until you said it, not being particularly familiar with lightning strikes(except by Lou Christie, of course). :)

But Lou made it clear . . . "again and again and again and again"
