-----------------------------------KBFF Names Bryan LaRoche Morning Co-Host-----------------------------------

ALPHA MEDIA Top 40 KBFF (LIVE 95.5)/PORTLAND, OR is bringing in BRYAN LAROCHE to be HANNAH BYROM's co-host on LIVE 95.5 mornings. LAROCHE's experience includes stops at WKSL/JACKSONVILLE, WKQI/DETROIT, WMTX/TAMPA, WJFX/FORT WAYNE, WSTO/EVANSVILLE and WNOU/INDIANAPOLIS.

“I'm excited to once again be working with BRYAN," ALPHA MEDIA VP/Programming PHIL BECKER said. "I've watched him develop over the years and he's turned into a talent that I would not like to compete against. Teaming him up with HANNAH and forming PORTLAND's only local Top 40 morning show is going to be a great thing for our listeners, advertisers and brand for a long time to come.”

“I've been waiting for this day to come since my career began," LAROCHE said. "To be able to help wake up PORTLAND every morning is a dream come true for me. The team at ALPHA MEDIA genuinely loves radio the way I do and I'm beyond thankful for the opportunity to work with them. My family and I are on another level of excitement to call this beautiful city home."

“BRYAN is the perfect match not only for HANNAH but for our live-and-local PACIFIC NORTHWEST audience,' ALPHA MEDIA/PORTLAND SVP/Market Manager MILT MCCONNELL said. "BRYAN and HANNAH’s energy and vibrant personalities will help grow the Live 95.5 brand and elevate the station to the next level.”

    3 words of advice:

    Rent, don't buy.

And keep the lease at 6 months if possible. To be fair, this applies to anyone who moves to a top 25 market in radio.

Not picking on Alpha but have you noticed how all these New Hire releases sound alike. Is there an app to help write this stuff? Regardless of the names I've noticed they all use the words "excited" "Dream come true" and "thrilled".
And of course six to twelve months later there is always "We wish him/her well"

It's called a template with proven copy.

I've written some press releases, and getting it picked up generally means using the proven copy, which also means you never, ever really get the goods on a press release.

That's found after you follow the hook set in the blurb that got you thinking about it all in the first place.

So he has been as high up as Detroit, and now he wants to go from Jacksonville to Portland?

    Keep the resume fresh.
