    No surprise here:

    http://www.gallup.com/poll/113980/gallup-daily-obama-job-approval.aspx

Leftists here keep telling their lies, hoping their arrogance will trump reality. Meanwhile, their guy golfs as the world burns.

Fact is, a clear majority of Americans disapprove of Barry's utterly abysmal performance. And it couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of radical socialist abortion-supporting, leftist union thugs.

Well, we're glad your week started off on a high note, Herb. What's on the agenda for the rest of the day? Dog-kicking, shoving old women down, or spitting on little kids?

One can disapprove of Obama and still be a liberal.

Just like one can disapprove of Hitler and still be a fascist...Herb.

    :-)

Ridiculing Herb doesn't take away from the fact that even the nation's liberals are beginning to turn away from Obama, except, of course, for the Obamatrons on this forum.

Herb just wants to stir shit here without actually discussing an actual issue. He must be living a very bitter life in his little room.

"Ridiculing Herb doesn't take away from the fact that even the nation's liberals are beginning to turn away from Obama, except, of course, for the Obamatrons on this forum."

And for the umpteenth time I ask So The Fuck What? Herb can post his piddling poll numbers each month, each week, each day or each hour, and it STILL won't change the fact that Obama will be POTUS until January 20, 2016. You're just going to have to cinch it up and ride it out.

Correct, shipwreck. This is completely about Herb and his O-Hater obsession.

Deane, there are times to like Obama and times to dislike him. When conservatives reflexively bash him (Skybill) and it's undeserved, I'm going to call out those conservatives. But that doesn't mean that I think he's the messiah (again, Skybill).

For me, these are things that Obama has f'ed up:

    -nonsensical, corporate-driven education reform

-not defining a clear role for the U.S. in the Middle East

-should have moved way more aggressively to recover the economy through stimulus.

-gave the banks that caused this recession a huge pass, with no prosecutions to speak of, and now they are even more "too big to fail"

-use of drones for civilian law enforcement

-continuing Bush-era policies of violating Constitutional rights to privacy

I'm sure there's more if I had the time. I can tell you that if he starts to move boots back onto the ground in Iraq, then I'll be in that "disapprove" category with Herb.

But that, in no way whatsoever, means that I'm abandoning Liberalism. If I disapprove of Obama, it's because he's abandoning my core principles, not that I'm abandoning his.

Or maybe it is because I'm abandoning his. Because from Day 1, Obama has been a right-leaning centerist, and the farther he leans right, the less I like him.

EDIT ADD: In fact Herb, liberalism is on the rise:

I agree, that is the bad part.

    It's already happening.

I know. And conservative chicken hawks are pushing hard. Without the intense warmongering from the right, I'm not so sure "Nobel Peace Prize Obama" would be going there. But "corporation-loving Obama" wants to keep the military-industrial complex happy...
