"Rep. Bachmann lands post on Intelligence Committee"

Sounds like an oxymoron to me.

"The outspoken Minnesota Republican and Tea Party favorite has been tapped by House Speaker John Boehner"

There is probably a better way to phrase that, especially when you are talking about a male and female politician!

So to that end, I'd say funny!

Goes to show how dumb John Boehner is. Michelle Bachmann is a complete and total moron.

Of course she is, she's not a kool-aid drinking liberal.

A paranoid schizophrenic of any stripe on this committee should give us all pause. One does not have to be bipartisan, but being bipolar puts the country at risk.

    Absolutely.

Please show proof that she is (if that’s what you are insinuating). Otherwise it's just conjecture.

I would love to be able to share proof from a medical professional. Unlike bus drivers and bank tellers, our congressmen do not have to prove mental competency or cognitive ability to hold their positions.

All I have to reference is hundreds of hours of footage of her acting crazy on the floor of the House of Representatives, over the course of interviews, on the campaign trail, and during press conferences.

Much of it is available in the C-Span archives and on any number of other media websites. I could create an anthology of it, but it would probably be ignored as "partisan" and turn out to be a waste of my time.

It gives me no pleasure to call out anyone for being nuts. Our country was built by dissidents, eccentrics and rugged individualists. At the end of the day, we still have to draw the line at crazy.
