No Boss Jocks!? (Seriously, though, hadn't all the Boss Jocks and pukers disappeared from the radio dial some forty years ago?)

No. They still lurk among us. And they are not always a bad thing. Listener expectations have not changed as much as many of us would like to think. Think KRTH Los Angeles, for example, still #1, or close in L.A.

Well, I would like to hear more of them! And it would be cool if somebody used a touch of reverb on the CR mic. ;-)

    "No radio experience required..."

Listen to KXL's Saturday afternoon block to hear how that's been working out for them.

(Oh, wait...I'm not worthy to comment on this thread because of my screen name. Sorry.)

"And it would be cool if somebody used a touch of reverb on the CR mic."

KXL uses a touch (and I stress, a *touch*) of Eventide reverb on their FM airchain.

"(Seriously, though, hadn't all the Boss Jocks and pukers disappeared from the radio dial some forty years ago?)"

When I got to speak with Steve Pringle, he openly admitted he was a puker when he first started out in the nineties.
