In her struggle to regain even a tiny sliver of her former relevance, Sarah Palin has signed onto this right-wing crank sinking ship:

I'm all for defunding it. It's probably the only way we can stop the CF from taking effect.

Defund it until they can get it right.

Even after the ruling from nation's highest court. Here's a dead horse. Let's beat it.

Me too. Let's stop paying the military and paying for veterans' benefits until they stop this turkey. What we most need now is to kick 30 million people off of health care and go back to the broken health care system we had before. I want more medical-related bankruptcies and people to die sooner. End Obamacare NOW!

Tell us Bill, what's wrong with Obamacare? It hasn't even been fully implemented yet, so I don't think anyone can judge it until we have some data to look at.

"Tell us Bill, what's wrong with Obamacare?"

My main point of contention is the mandate.

Then there are all the exemptions, especially for the people that foisted this load of crap on us. Either it's good for everybody or it's good for nobody. If it's such a great program then why are the politicians in DC all getting exempted from it.

I don't trust what the government says. It is going to cost WAY more than they are predicting. They can't even run the Post Office properly how the heck are they going to run this. Just wait, it's going to be worse than it is now.

How does it get worse when you're uninsured?

And regarding the mandate, like Joe the Plumber, you're worrying about paying taxes on income you will never earn. If you're insured, Obamacare doesn't matter. If you're uninsured, you're likely in an income level where it will be covered for you by people like me. Luckily I'm a nice guy and will contribute.

Skybill: "Tell us Bill, what's wrong with Obamacare?"

My main point of contention is the mandate.

The Mandate is required to make the rest of the law work. The removal of lifetime coverage images and denial of insurance for preexisting conditions costs money, a lot of money. Increasing the insurance pool with the Mandate not only covers more people but makes the economics work.

Then there are all the exemptions, especially for the people that foisted this load of crap on us.

The Congress isn't "exempt" from Obamacare, despite the right-wing propaganda. A Republican amendment to the original bill removed the government subsidy for congressional staffers for their health insurance - which is like a forced pay cut. The government has since ruled that these staffers will be able to buy health care now on the new health care exchanges and still get subsidies even if their income would price them out.

Either it's good for everybody or it's good for nobody. If it's such a great program then why are the politicians in DC all getting exempted from it.

No politician is "exempted" from anything. Members of Congress already have a great health plan. They still do. Just like, if you had a good health plan at your job before, you keep it under Obamacare.

I don't trust what the government says.

    That's probably the real problem.

It is going to cost WAY more than they are predicting. They can't even run the Post Office properly how the heck are they going to run this.

The government doesn't "run" the Post Office. The US Congress does, as specified directly in the original US Constitution. That means one of the bodies in charge of the USPS is controlled by those Republicans in the House that you so worship.

"...where it will be covered for you by people like me."

Covered is a code word for government hand-out.

I don't want nor will I take a government hand out now or ever. If I ever lose my insurance through my employer I will not participate in this socialist experiment.

Yeah, unless you belong to a union or any of the other favorite groups that Obozo is handing out exemptions left and right to.
