ALPHA BROADCASTING Triple A KINK/PORTLAND, OR has announced that BRAD DOLBEER, currently MD and middays, has been named APD and has signed a multi-year agreement. He has has been with KINK for over eight years.

KINK PD CHRIS MAYS said, “BRAD is a well-respected member of the music community and a big part of the KINK family. I’ve worked with him at various times in his career, and he is a trusted ally and partner at KINK. I look forward to working with him in the years to come.”

ALPHA BROADCASTING Dir./Programming SCOTT MAHALICK said, “We are proud to be able to promote from within ALPHA. BRAD has strong skills and is a maestro when it comes to this format. I am confident he will excel in his new role.”

“I am incredibly humbled and honored to be recognized with this promotion. Working side by side with one of the best programmers in radio has been a dream come true. CHRIS MAYS and I have worked together for quite a few years both in SEATTLE and now in PORTLAND and make a powerful team.

“It’s not lost on me that we have a very unique situation here at KINK. The support of the ALPHA BROADCASTING leadership is remarkable. LARRY WILSON, BOB PROFFITT, SCOTT MAHALICK and MILT MCCONNELL really understand the importance of being local and delivering a product that supports the community. They back it up by having a full staff which saddens me to say, is not the case at most companies,” commented DOLBEER.
