Looks like the GOP might have actually gotten it wrong.

WHHHAAATTT! 8O Does that mean that we can expect Beck, Limbaugh, Larson, Hannity, and the rest of the Hate/Fear/Anger Radio Cabal to spend all day tomorrow making their apologies to the President and to Susan Rice? Somehow, I don't think that's going to happen. In fact, I predict that the producers of those shows are going to spend a pleasant week 17 of the NFL in tracking down guests that will try to besmirch and belittle this report.

They will end up saying shit like, "we had to push hard on Bengazi because IRS"

    It's the NY Times.

One newspaper. Right. Yeah, their investigators are better than the CIA and such.

I put as much faith in their findings as I do in trying to carry water in a strainer.

Who would be more trustworthy on this?

Lets just say I wouldn't put a lot of faith in a newspaper.

Who would you put faith in then?

This is important. We see claims about Bengazi and we want to know whether or not it all makes sense.

To do that, there must be some baseline kinds and sources of information needed to qualify opinions.

Without it, there tends to be a generally negative or positive outlook on current events that just isn't meaningful.

Whether or not the group who attacked that embassy were AQ affiliates or not isn't the point.

The actual point is what the administration chose to do during and after the events in question.

And what was it they did specifically and how would it have made a better outcome?

And who can tell us whether or not that thing was possible and support the outcome?
