Though I notice that there doesn't seem to be much in the way of reaction from those who wonder "why don't the moderate Muslims stand up"?

Yep. Truth is Muslims have done a better job of it. As the worlds largest religon, they are generally leading in this way. Again, good on them.

Terrorists are terrorists. What faith they use to justify terror isn't material. The sooner the world realizes that, the better.

Way too many people want to frame it in terms of some numbers game, which is self-serving and not productive, not in line with the core tenets of their own faith. They do themselves and their faith great harm too.

"We don't like dead people. And we like our guns not contributing to dead people."

    Amen!

    France (France!!!) steps up

    http://www.nydailynews.com/news/world/au-revoir-isis-fighters-french-jets-bomb-jihadists-article-1.1945885

The French did for President Obama on Friday what they refused to do for his predecessor — they joined the fight in Iraq.

Two Rafale fighter planes armed with laser-guided bombs “entirely destroyed” an Islamic State munitions depot and killed dozens of ISIS fighters, making France the first coalition country to make good on its promise to battle the murderous militants.

“Other operations will follow in the coming days with the same goal — to weaken this terrorist organization and come to the aid of the Iraqi authorities,” French President Francois Hollande vowed.

The French famously said “non” in 2003 when President Bush tried to enlist France in the fight against Saddam Hussein and continued to sit on the sidelines as Iraq descended into chaos.

But France signed on when Obama began building a coalition to take on the Islamic fanatics who have beheaded two U.S. reporters and murdered thousands of other “infidels” in Iraq.

France has a different leader now than it did then.

This one isn't a yellow bellied bleeding heart liberal like the other one.

+100 for France. Those ISIS pukes that got blown up are now good terrorists!

And of course Skybill is okay with paying more in taxes to fund the blowing up of the "ragheads".

Not! Skybill wants to dine and dash. Typical conservative expecting something for nothing.

As for the Muslims, they are just another large gathering of idiots who believe in foolishness. I think they have a long way to go before we say they are standing up to these extremists. As far as I'm concerned they are complicit since they are doing nothing.

Chalk it up as yet another example of why religion is the root of all evil in the world.

And what have you done other than piss and moan? Nothing. That makes you complicit too.

I don't support religion. You do.

    Judge for yourself who's complicit.

Remember, God told the 9/11 hijackers to fly jets into buildings.
