Somehow, in selecting the most qualified person available for AG, Eric Holder was determined by Obama to be that person. Fine and dandy. We could use a good AG. Unfortunately, he didn't turn out to be so hot.

Now, his new choice as the most qualified person in America is another black. If this person is indeed the most qualified for the job, I'm all for her. I think persons of color being highly successful is very good for the country.

However, I'm just a bit suspicious that we have a President for minorities, but the rest of us can go suck pond water.

BTW, I expect to be called all kinds of things for daring to post this. It's something we're not supposed to talk about, don't you know.

If race isn't an issue, then why bring it up? As president, Obama can nominate anyone he wants, including you. Would that make you his "token whitey"?

Seems to me all the years of avoiding minority selections has left us with a pool of great people to pick from.

When everybody is considered, that great pool remaining untapped for so long will result in some picks appearing biased.

Doesn't hurt us one bit to get a few of those people into positions to do us some good.

On a more basic note, who knows?

Given the absolute shit treatment Obama has received, maybe a few well qualified, but "fuck you all" kinds of appointments got in there?

I wouldn't blame Obama one bit for that. Not at all.

I wonder why that didn't happen when the President was elected?

Obama didn't get "shit treatment" because he was black. He got it because his ideas were bad for the country. They still are.

So, now he's supposed to take it up the ass and then nominate your guy? It doesn't work that way. BTW, the actual FACTS are 180 degrees out from your "bad for the country" meme.

duxrule, it isn't working at all.

"BTW, the actual FACTS are 180 degrees out from your "bad for the country" meme."

The electorate doesn't quite agree with you.

The electorate has never let the facts get in the way before. The GOP just sold them a Bill of Goods, and it won't take long for people to figure that out.

The 'sale of the bill of goods " this time was in large part ..THE POLLSTERS ...pretty much all of them...worse track record than 2012 was sporadically in that election. Far less accurate.

    They really blew it.

They missed the apathy of the Democrat Party loyal this time. Also, misread the Independents...The GOP didn't have to misrepresent much of anything, The Obamatrons did a fine job of that all on their own..
