    Specifics posted earlier in the "Seattle Radio Happenings" thread so I wouldn't get scolded for putting the info in the incorrect place. :roll:

    Now, the question: Was it a CC cost cutting move? They're bringing in a syndicated show from Sacramento as a replacement (ironically, the same show that replaced Rivers when he left Entercom 14 years ago) so that may have been a factor.

    The other question is what happens to Rivers' posse - who were being paid by Bob, not CC.

    RobP: I appreciate your thought in this. :D

    However, Bob Rivers is an internationally known recording artist with albums released (5 CD's most hitting Billboard charts). In this case most people would know of him.

    Not to mention Rivers was heard for a time in Portland Radio, I think on NRK.

    One of the talk formats on 970 in the early 2000s and the "Rock Hits" format of Mix 107.5 around 2006 if my memory serves me.
