Even the liberal Washington Post predicts a strong likelihood of a Republican Senate, with a Republican House a foregone conclusion.

'Our model currently gives Republicans an 86 percent chance of winning a Senate majority.

The updated forecast for the House is nothing surprising. In line with what we’ve previously written, we estimate that the Democrats have less than a 1 percent chance of taking the House.'

Democrats had the House, Senate and White House. Now they're twisting in the wind. It couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of abortion-backing, anti-American, weak-on-defense, socialist, gun-grabbing, union thugs.

    Spin on, leftists.

So Herb what does that do? GOP wins the Senate back and they already have the House. What does that do?

Tell us what that will do for you? For America?

As a Democrat, it's time for Kitzhaber to go. He's had his time and turn again. It's time for a new voice, new ideas and a new person leading Oregon. Be it Democrat or Republican.

But who will people elect? Kitzhaber again. Why? What other choices are out there? The last good shot to replace Kitzhaber was Chris Dudley. But conservative Republicans in Oregon didn't like Dudley so they stayed at home. And by doing so, they helped Kitzhaber get his old job back.

If Chris Dudley is the best that the Oregon GOP has to put up, then they need to just resign themselves to losing every significant political position in the state for the forseeable future. Where are the Tom McCalls, Vic Atiyehs and Mark Hatfields?

duxrule, I agree with you. But in today's world. Conservatives would hate and not support Republicans like Tom McCall, Vic Atiyeh, and Mark Hatfield because they're not "conservative enough." What every that means.

Hell when he got to the Senate. Rick Santorum on the Senate floor asked and wondered why the people of Oregon would reelect a person like Mark Hatfield who don't represent "conservative values" of the people from Oregon.

I don't know. But maybe the reason why Mark Hatfield was reelect time and time by the people of Oregon is he represented every one in Oregon and not just one side. Unlike the people that are elected today.

    Great question, Trixter.

What it does is place a nice, big monkey wrench in the gears of this horrific administration's attempts to strip our military, push abortion on demand, remove God from our society, prevent self defense guaranteed by the Second Amendment, open our borders to any terrorist who wants in, while forcing their sub-par pro-death socialist medicine scheme.

From there, we can start reversing the decline this guy has wrought not only on our country, but the chaos released around the world by evil doers like ISIS, Putin and plenty of others. His red line is a joke. Never ask a community organizer to do an adult's job.
